Sirkus Huima's open stage

Sirkus Huimalla on ilo kutsua sinut tiistaina 6.12. ensimmäiseen open stage -iltaan, jossa on luvassa mm. ilma- ja pariakrobatiaa sekä jonglöörausta. Sirkusnumerot ovat Sirkus Huiman harrastelijoiden omaksi ja muiden iloksi tekemiä. Esitys alkaa klo: 21.30 ja kestää korkeintaan tunnin. Toimintaamme voi tukea vapaaehtoisella lahjoituksella.

Iltaa vietetään tavallisella treenipaikallamme Circus Helsingin tiloissa, osoitteessa Aleksis Kiven katu 17 A 31.

Sirkus Huima has the pleasure of inviting you to our first open stage evening on the 6.12.2011. The programme includes aerial- and pair acrobatics and juggling, among other things, with members of Sirkus Huima performing for your and each others' pleasure. The show starts at 21:30 and lasts about an hour tops. If you'd like to support Sirkus Huima, please make a donation at the venue.

Outdoor practice begins now!!!

Hello Circus People!!!

The indoor practices this season have been fantastic and now it's time to move outside.

The practice continues every wednesday through the whole summer in
the park in Töölönlahti (close to Finlandia house) at 18->

We were already there last Wednesday:

Be there and invite all your friends. Slackline will be there too.

The indoor practice continues in the autumn.

There is time for new ideas!

Hurrraaa, we got our Youth in Action project done!!
We did lot of workshops and shows in the kindergarten, schools, festivals etc. If some of you don't know the idea, here is the summary of the project:

"The theme of the project was cooperation and bringing different people together. The project, “Sirkus Huima”, gathered children and young people together to participate in circus activities. Through the circus activities, the participants learnt group interaction and communication skills. People from different cultural, economical, and social backgrounds were encouraged to join the group by participating in the workshops and weekly practice sessions organized by the project group. The workshops were organized, among others, at youth centres, kindergartens and festivals. Weekly practice sessions were held at the premises of Circus Helsinki, at practice around 30-40 people participated. Both the workshops and weekly practice sessions were free of charge for all participants. The project has been made visible by flyers, posters, internet pages and also by being present at circus festivals."
